Founded by Charlotte Gilbert, Doctoral Candidate in Curriculum and Instruction – STEM/Technology, AIEDTX is informed by a multidisciplinary background spanning educational leadership, biotechnology, public-sector compliance, and technology systems management. Charlotte is a Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) and Texas Principal as Instructional Leader, holding both a Master of Science in Educational Management & Instructional Leadership and a Master of Science in Plant Breeding (Biotechnology), combining scientific rigor, institutional governance, and operational systems expertise.

Prior to founding AIEDTX, Charlotte served in public-sector roles including contract and program oversight with the Texas Water Development Board, where she supported agricultural water conservation initiatives, managed grant and contract documentation, drafted and negotiated agreements, monitored compliance, and contributed to infrastructure-focused funding programs. This experience established a deep understanding of state-level funding mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and long-term resource planning.

In K–12 and higher education environments, Charlotte has led federally funded district level magnet initiatives, overseen procurement and budget alignment, designed TEKS-aligned STEM and STEM+M curricula, coordinated robotics and drone systems integration, implemented AI-driven instructional frameworks, and developed executive-level data reporting systems.
